GJD won the BSIA Best Use of Technology Security Award
Haywood-based GJD, a leading UK designer and manufacturer of advanced perimeter protection and intrusion detection equipment, won the “Best Use of Technology” award at The British Security Awards 2022.
The BSIA Awards celebrate excellence and commitment in the security industry, making this award a great achievement for GJD. The award presentation took place on 29 June at London Marriott Grosvenor Square.
GJD has entered the unique LoRa long range wireless system for the “best use of technology” category. The LoRa system includes an external motion detector, I / O module, LX speaker and walk tester. GJD has developed the technology to seamlessly integrate with security motion detectors, LED lighting, interface modules and other intrusion-resistant devices. It is designed for long-range connection and low-power communication, it operates at distances up to 2 km and allows to use up to 500 devices in one system.
