RIO GRANDE CITY, Texas – A groundbreaking ceremony was held June 30 for a new state-of-the-art medical development center built in Rio Grande City.
DHR Health, Starr County, Starr County Industrial Foundation, City of Rio Grande City, Rio Grande City Economic Development Corporation and Starr County Memorial Hospital are partners in the new initiative.
The center will include a medical laboratory, residency program and accommodation, medical office and research facilities.
Dalinda Guilen, executive director of the City Economic Development Council in Rio Grande, was interviewed on the occasion. Guardian International News Service in Rio Grande Julia Rodriguez reporter.
