Serviced apartment specialist Edin will open his first property in France with plans for Locke Aparthotel in Paris.
The company is expanding around Europe and will include the new Lock property in the French capital, which is scheduled to open in the second half of 2024.
Edyn is an 18 convertm Century Mansion in Paris’ Latin Quarter 145 studio apartments in an aparthotel, as well as a winter garden, restaurant and bar, co-working area, coffee shop, gym and laundry facilities. Development is due to start this month after purchasing the site with planning permission.
Edin CEO Stephen McCall said: “Having established ourselves as one of Europe’s most innovative hybrid hospitality groups, this flagship opening in Paris extends the reach of our exciting pipeline of Lock and Cove hotels across the continent, at a time when increased stay awareness is translating into record levels of consumer demand.”
The company’s recent growth includes the largest Locke property to date, Wonderlock in Munich, opening in May 2023 with Locke at Berlin’s East Side Gallery. Two more Locks properties are under construction in Zurich and Lisbon, which will open. In the next two years.
Edin raised £105 million in funding earlier this year to help pay for the aparthotel brand’s continued expansion across Europe.
