** The Hancock Building continues. A source close to the team has spoken of sophomore cornerback up Jordan Hancock We’ve checked in with the source to see how the 6-foot-1, 188-pound Hancock has been working since spring this summer and whether our source expectations have fallen slightly.
“I’ll say the exact opposite – if anything, I’ll be more than that,” the source said. “He came out of the spring with all that speed and the new defensive coaches are telling him that if he keeps his nose close to Grindstone, he’s going to play a lot of football for us this fall. Well, he took it to heart and is one of those people who pushes his ass every day.
“As I told you a few months ago, I would be shocked if our top three corners didn’t play a relatively equal snap. And nothing against that Cam Brown And Denzel Burke I really like who you know and like coaches. It is true that Jordan has placed himself in their kingdom and he will be on the field like them this year. ”
What about JK Johnson?
“They like him too and he’s the fastest in the bunch, or at least as fast as Cam,” the source said. “But I would say he is clearly fourth in the Peking Order. But that means he’s still going to be two-deep and will definitely be on the field this year. He could get hit in one of the top three corners for a lot of play, but he’s definitely on the plan.
